Stuart Hills, Washington State
It is a spectacular peak in the Cascades Mountains, with an elevation of 9414 feet. It is the second highest non volcanic peak in the state, after Bonanza Peak, and ranks seventh among all peaks in Washington State. It is the highest peak of the Stuart Mountains, located in the central area of the Cascades Mountains in central Washington state, south of Stevens Pass and east of Snoqualmi Pass, belonging to the wilderness of the Alpine Lake region. It is a huge granite mountain known for its majestic mountain shape and complex terrain. Multiple hiking routes are provided, including the technical West Mountain Ridge route. It is one of the largest bare granite monomers in the United States.
